Ears perked up in the zeiler cinema

ears perked up in the zeiler cinema

Comfortably sprawled on the sofa or armchair, with a cold beer in the hand, in front driving entertainment – that's the way to live. In the wings of the capitol theater, where people normally watch hollywood blockbusters and love stories on the big screen, visitors on friday evening were treated to something completely different: "soul jam" was the name of the show, "minimal", "timeless" and "crash unplugged stood on the stage and showed that for good live music you only need to step in front of the house.

Since april 2011 there is the "ohrenkino", which the music initiative habberge and the capitol theater zeil with their boss bruno schneyer organized biannually untilland. Their goal: "to give young bands from the region the opportunity to perform on stage", as michael lorz from the music initiative explained. Bruno schneyer, owner of the zeiler kino, adds that they want to make sure there is a mix of up-and-coming and already established bands – to create exchange.

Young professionals
What status the bands had on this evening, was sometimes hard to find out for the visitors. For despite their youth, they all seemed like old hands in the music business and proved that in the cinema, even without a screen and a film reel, things can really take off.

Good wine attracts the people of hochstadt

Good wine attracts the people of hochstadt

"Schoppenfetzer" they are called in the area around wurzburg. But the friends of a good french wine are no longer limited to the french wine region. The people of hochstadt and many visitors from the surrounding area got a taste for it.

At the wine festival of the hochstadt associations, many a merry group could even be found at all three locations. The short paths of the party mile made it possible.

The ski club, the home and preservation association and the fishing association had pitched their tents in particularly beautiful places in the old town. Thanks to the pleasant temperatures, the "feeling" was good on this late summer evening a completely different one than the year before with quite unpleasant weather.

“Servus cuba” inspires in coburg

The title is a corkless declaration of love to the sugar island. "Servus cuba" the cubaboarians have succinctly christened their new CD – and thus seem to have met the taste of the buying public. Exactly one week after its release, the band's sixth album is already number 38 in the german album charts, as leonhard meixner proudly announced at the coburg guest performance in the well-attended kongresshaus.

The high-contrast mix is obviously very well received – also by fans in the region. The cubaboarians mix the musical ingredients in such an unknown way that unprejudiced listeners could expect considerable risks of untraceability at first. But the opposite is the case. The constant contrast arouses curiosity. Above all, however, the persistent joy of music captivates the audience for a long time.

Changing line-up

This is of course due to the septet from the mangfall valley, but also to the four guests from cuba, with whom the cubaboarians seem to harmonize quite naturally in constantly changing line-ups.
This evening tells the story of a musical liaison that was inevitably doomed to fail from the very beginning. Because what do leathery folk music from upper bavaria and the passionate music of cuba have to do with each other??

Nurnberg: a pilot project aims to resolve disputes outside the courts

Nurnberg: a pilot project aims to resolve disputes outside the courts

Anna M. Fed up: the neighbor in the apartment above her just doesn’t seem to have any respect. 100 times she pointed out to him that he should listen to his music at room volume and not walk through the apartment with his clacking shoes in the evening. But neighbor peter S. He sees it differently: when he finally comes home from work, he needs a rest. And music is the best way to help him switch off. The fact that the neighbor under him makes claims, although she herself does not work, and blobbed him in front of other tenants and the property management, goes him gehorig on the nerves.

Anna M. Has peter S. Already addressed, other neighbors involved and the property management informed. But no one seems to be paying any attention to her concerns, and she now feels isolated. But clearing the field and moving out is not an option, especially since she cannot afford another apartment in nurnberg as a recipient of unemployment benefit II. Going to court and applying for legal aid seems too time-consuming for her.

Mediation should help

There is still a way to resolve the conflict, says the german mediation foundation. She now wants to popularize the instrument of out-of-court settlement in nurnberg with a pilot project. "We want to improve the litigation culture in germany, explains andrea zechmann, regional manager for central franconia at the foundation. For example, with regard to the neighborhood conflict she described. Such disputes are not only "highly emotional", but overtaxed the courts already purely numerically.

Ebersdorf is in kerwaf fever

Ebersdorf is in kerwaf fever

On sunday the people of ebersdorf celebrated kirchweih in bright sunshine. 14 couples paraded through the village, and then danced all afternoon on the historic anger.
Numerous onlookers and visitors were at the anger to admire the decorative madel in their historic costumes and the boys as they danced the three traditional dances waltz, polka and rheinlander over the anger.

Of course, the frankenwald musicians from windheim were in action again this year. These musicians have accompanied the traditional costume parade and the boys’ parade for many years and have long been a popular and permanent feature of the "ebersdorfer kirchweih".

The efforts for this festival have paid off. The finale began on the tuesday after the schutzenfest in ludwigsstadt. From this point on, the boys and girls were in action almost every evening.

Lichtenfel’s pub night suffers from the cowslide

Lichtenfel's pub night suffers from the cowslide

The pub night organized by six lichtenfels pubs occurred. A little different than hoped for and announced in advance. What has already taken place several times in the wicker town, remained comparatively pale on saturday.

It had become cool on this saturday evening. In the announcement of the pub night, which lives mainly through its musical offer, there was something about a "warm summer night" to read. The evening should not be so lukewarm. However, not so useless rain-covered, as one of the announced bands feared in the morning. And thereupon as a precaution have canceled. "Father’s finest, who with their mixture of blues, funk and soul had been announced for a performance at saumarkt, had cancelled their appearance for fear of rain and the damage that would then be done to their stage equipment. This was explained by sylvia schamel, landlady of the "pinkus, on inquiry of our newspaper.

"For months you have summer weather and then this", said the hostess, pointing to the sky in a mixture of resignation and amusement. But "that" was actually not so bad, because the sky was supposed to be starry; quite useful for a band under it. However, the aforementioned cancellation has already taken a lot out of the musical pub night, because "father’s finest" will be there not only from the "pinkus, but was also hired by the weinhaus heidenreich. Two of the six starting points were thus eliminated. Nevertheless the saumarkt was lively.
